The Rick Deckard of 'Blade Runner 2049' struggles to remember his co-star's name when sitting down for a TV interview with Graham Norton.

AceShowbiz - Harrison Ford couldn't remember the name of his "Blade Runner 2049" co-star Ryan Gosling. The 75-year-old actor had to repeatedly turn to his junior and ask for his name when the twosome dropped by "The Graham Norton show" to promote their new movie.

"They finally came up with a good story. I read it. I thought it was awesome. I thought it was great," Ford talked about his involvement in the movie. "And as I read it, I read about the character that umm...Ryan," he hesitated before turning to Gosling and asked for confirmation, "Ryan?" Gosling replied with a straight face, "It's Ryan, yeah."

The audience burst into laughters but Ford continued with his story without missing a beat. "With great enthusiasm, I called the producers and I said 'this is great, can't wait to get blah blah blah,' and what a great part - why don't we see if we can get um..., he said before again turning to Gosling who quickly said, "Ryan."

"And they say, we've been talking to him for months.' Now wait a second, they'd only been talking to me for weeks," the actor went on. "So they probably would have gone ahead without me."

The new "Blade Runner" movie directed by Denis Villeneuve will make its way out across the United States on October 6. It got a lot of praise from citics during the early screening. Jared Leto, Robin Wright and Mackenzie Davis are among the supporting cast.

It takes place thirty years after the events of the first film. A new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. K's discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
