The trippy visuals features a couple who goes through inter-dimentional universes to mend their broken relationship.

AceShowbiz - Three months after releasing their dancey collaboration "2U", David Guetta and Justin Bieber have finally premiered the official music video for the track. Directed by director duo Brewer, the experimental visuals chronicles a multi-layered, trippy love story.

The clip follows inter-dimentional journey of a man who's in a stormy relationship with his lover. The couple fights in a diner through some eras, such as zombie apocalypses, cartoon universes and futuristic world. Overall, the visuals will literally make you scratch your head.

Of the video's concept, the directors said in a press release, "When we first heard '2U', we were struck by how the music and lyrics supported each other. The song perfectly captures the emotional phenomenon of loving someone to the point where there's nothing you wouldn't do for them."

"We thought it would be great to embrace this idea, being as it's one of our most beloved cultural cliches, and repeat it over and over again to try to see if through repetition a new perspective, a new deconstruction, could happen," they added. "It's like saying a word over and over again. Eventually, it starts to lose its shape. We hope people are compelled to watch it multiple times, because there is a lot of fun stuff hiding in the frames."

The video is the second visuals released for the song. Back in June, Guetta and Bieber released a music video that featured Victoria's Secret Angels lipsyncing the song. Naturally, fans can't help but compare the two clips. "I prefer the video of the models," a YouTube user writes below the official video, while another quips, "Why am I so confused?" Another confused user comments, "Can someone explain what is going on in the video? I've watched it 4 times and I still don't get it."

Guetta first revealed there would be two music videos for the song a few months ago. "We're probably going to do two music videos. But that's one of the videos, yeah," he said, before adding, "It's amazing to have Victoria's Secret girls, but I also wanted something that's not branded, you know? But this is amazing; I'm very flattered that they're doing this."
