The 46-year-old actress has taken to social media to announce she got married to the 41-year-old actor over the weekend in a 'magical' ceremony.

AceShowbiz - Idina Menzel and Aaron Lohr have tied the knot. The "Frozen (2013)" actress announced the big news on her Twitter account on Monday, September 25, saying that she and the 41-year-old actor exchanged vows over the weekend in a "magical" ceremony.
"Wanted to let you know... Married the love of my life #aaronlohr this weekend @ our home," so Menzel tweeted. The 46-year-old actress and singer went on saying, "Dad & son walked me down aisle," before gushing, "It was magical."

Hours later, Menzel shared a couple of photos from her big day. The Tony-winning actress looked stunning wearing an off-the-shoulder lace gown by Carolina Herrera which she paired with Jimmy Choo shoes, Ricardo Basta jewels and a Jennifer Behr headpiece.

Lohr, meanwhile, looked dapper in a John Varvatos suit complete with a dark blue tie and a white flower pinned to his left lapel. "Thank you to everyone who helped make my wedding day so special," so Menzel captioned one of the photos.

Menzel and Lohr, whom she co-starred in 2005's film adaptation "Rent", started dating in 2015. They made their first red carpet debut at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in Washington, D.C. in April that year.
The actress announced in September 2016 that she was engaged to the "Mighty Ducks" star. "As if this week couldn't get any better I have wonderful news... my man and I are engaged!" she tweeted at the time. "We are so happy. It's a beautiful time."
This is the second marriage for Menzel. She was previously married to Taye Diggs, whom she also met on Broadway's "Rent". The former couple separated in December 2013 after 10 years of marriage. They share one child together, a 7-year-old son named Walker.
