Rosie is 'saddened' to hear that her former wife Michelle Rounds took her own life at the age of 46.

AceShowbiz - Rosie O'Donnell is mourning the loss of her former wife Michelle Rounds. According to numerous reports, Michelle's body was found at her home on Monday morning, September 11. She reportedly commited suicide. She was only 46.
"I am saddened to hear about this terrible tragedy. Mental illness is a very serious issue affecting many families," the 55-year-old TV personality said in a statement in the wake of Michelle's passing. "My thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle’s family, her wife and their child."
The LGBTQ activist urged people to make donations to help raise awareness on mental health, "If anyone would like to give to the National Suicide Prevention it would also be greatly appreciated. There are so many out there in this world that have demons that they think suicide is the only way out."
In her obituary, Michelle was remembered as a "very loving, giving and caring individual who would help anyone in their time of need." She was also described as a "high-class 'tom boy' who was a sharp shooter, enjoyed boxing, golfing and the great outdoors."
Michelle's family will hold a private memorial service to pay tribute to her. She was survived by her wife Krista Monteleone, parents Roger and Gayla Rounds, brother Tad (Janet) Rounds, two daughters, and one stepson.
Rosie O'Donnell starting dating Michelle Rounds in mid-2011. In a December episode of "The Rosie Show", she announced their engagement. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in New York in June 2012. In January 2013, they adopted a baby girl named Dakota, now 4 years old.
The couple parted ways in 2014 after two years of marriage. Rosie filed for divorce in 2015. They got into a custody war after Rosie sought a sole custody of their daughter. In September, Michelle was hospitalized for an apparent overdose. The two finally finalized their divorce in March 2016. Rosie was awarded full custody of their child.
