'Black Panther' Hasbro Toys Unveil Erik Killmonger's Final Costume
Movie

The very first Hasbro action figures for the upcoming flick reveal the villainous character played by Michael B. Jordan will be getting a costume upgrade.

AceShowbiz - The final costume for "Black Panther" villain Erik Killmonger has been revealed. While fans already got a glimpse of the antagonist played by Michael B. Jordan in the first trailer for the film, the very first Hasbro action figures for the upcoming flick reveal the villainous character will be getting a costume upgrade.

Killmonger will be donning a "golden" Black Panther suit to battle Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa. As seen in some toy photos obtained by Yahoo! Movies, the villain is wearing a traditional Black Panther suit that features a golden Vibranium weave. It bears a striking resemblance to the classic suit donned by T'Challa in the comic books. The new King of Wakanda is also getting a new costume, though, but his features a blue weave.

Directed by Ryan Coogler ("Creed") from a screenplay he co-wrote with Joe Robert Cole ("American Crime Story"), "Black Panther" follows T'Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king.

But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T'Challa's mettle as king - and Black Panther - is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

The superhero flick is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on February 16 next year. Also co-starring Boseman in the upcoming film are Lupita Nyong'o, Angela Bassett, Andy Serkis, Martin Freeman, Winston Duke, Forest Whitaker, Danai Gurira, Sterling K. Brown, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright and Florence Kasumba.
