Fans finally know for sure when Manu Bennett's Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke will be making his official comeback to "Arrow". According to EP Marc Guggenheim, the fan-favorite villain is going to return for season 6 in its upcoming fifth episode.

Guggenheim has taken to Twitter to share a picture of the cover sheet for episode 605 of the show. The episode is titled "Deathstroke Returns", which literally indicates the return of the character. The EP jokingly captions the photo, "I'm posting this one early because it's Friday. Also, I'm worried the title might be too subtle. @manubennett."

The photo suggests that the episode is written by Ben Sokolowski ("Arrow", "The Flash", "DC's Legends of Tomorrow") and Spiro Skentzos ("Grimm"). Meanwhile, Joel Novoa, who previously directed "Arrow" season 5 episode titled "Dangerous Liaisons", is set to serve behind the lens. "Deathstroke Returns" is set to start filming on August 24.

In the upcoming season 6, Deathstroke will join forces with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), further exploring their weird mentor-pupil relationship. His return was hinted back in season 5 finale as Oliver visited him with a request to help him defeat Prometheus. Amell previously confirmed Bennett's return, saying, "I can report that Manu Bennet is back to being a part of the show. I think we will see him multiple times this year, which is awesome."

Season 6 seemingly will also be a family reunion for Slade. A new casting announcement suggested that one of Deathstroke's sons, Joseph a.k.a. Jerichomay, might appear in the new season. It was reported that producers were seeking "an Aussie lad to fill the guest-starring role of an 'introverted, moody and naturally athletic' teenager."

"Arrow" returns for season 6 on Thursday, October 12 at 9 P.M. on The CW.
