Stephen Amell gave away a few details of upcoming season 6 of "Arrow" during his appearance at the "Heroes & Villains FanFest" in Nashville on Saturday, July 8. The actor confirmed that the new season would see the return of fan-favorite villain Manu Bennet's Deathstroke.

In the video captured during the on-stage interview, Amell could be heard saying, "I can report that Manu Bennet is back to being a part of the show." He added, "I think we will see him multiple times this year, which is awesome."

Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke was being imprisoned on Lian Yu at the end of season 2 until Oliver visited him with a request to help him defeat Prometheus in season 5. In season 6, fans can expect them joining forces, further exploring their weird mentor-pupil relationship.

It seemed like Deathstroke was not the only one set to return as Amell also teased another character's return for the new season. "We have somebody returning to the show this year that we have not seen since season 1," he said. Amell also revealed that his character would be getting a new apartment and that the show's flashbacks would continue in order to show other supporting characters' backstories. "They are a part of the show's DNA," Amell said, before adding, "I would expect to see them on a relatively regular basis."

"Arrow" returns for season 6 on Thursday, October 12 at 9 P.M. on The CW.
