One of the 26-year-old reality TV star's companies has been hit with a $100 million patent infringement lawsuit over their promotion and her use of an illuminated phone case.

Kim Kardashian's company Kimsaprincesss, Inc. has been slapped with a patent infringement lawsuit over their promotion and her use of illuminated phone case LuMee. SnapLight is suing Kim's company for $100 million, claiming that they first invented the illuminated smartphone case.
According to TMZ, in the complaint, filed on Monday, July 31 in California, SnapLight claims a man named Hooshmand Harooni filed a patent for an ''integrated lighting accessory and case for a mobile phone device" back in 2013. The company claims Hooshmand licensed his lighting phone case to them.
Kim is often promoting her LuMee phone case on social media when she takes a selfie with pals, and SnapLight claims she's taking some of their profits. The company insists it's been "extremely difficult" for them ''to compete in the selfie case market" with the 36-year-old star promoting LuMee to her massive social media followers. So they want $100 million to cover their lost profits.
However, a rep for Kim insists that the 36-year-old socialite has done "absolutely nothing wrong." The rep has told the website that "the patent lawsuit filed by SnapLight has no merit and is just another attempted shakedown. Kim has done absolutely nothing wrong."
