Ciara is the sweetest wife ever. The 31-year-old singer surprised her husband Russell Wilson with an unforgettable gift to celebrate their first wedding anniversary on Thursday, July 6. Ciara hired an airplane to fly a banner which read, "Happy 1 Year Baby, Yay! I [love] U."
The mother-of-two took to Instagram to share a heartwarming video of her family watching the banner flying across the sky from a balcony. In the video, Russell helped the 3-year-old Future Jr. to use his binocular. "There it is," Ciara said to her son. "You see it? Mommy put a cool sign up in the sky. Can you read it? 'Happy 1 Year, Baby, I love you,' " Russell added.
Russell took a moment to admire the banner before saying, "We made it, one year!" to his wife. "We made it!" Ciara happily replied. The couple then shared a sweet kiss while the banner could still be seen in the sky.
Ciara also posted a clearer photo of the banner. " 'HAPPY 1 YEAR BABY! YAY! I [love] U!' ...I'm Grateful to God for the Love he has given me, by putting you in my life," she captioned the photo, before adding, "I have all that I need. Truly 1 of the Best years of my life."
Fans expressed their happiness for the couple in the comment section. "Awwww! So beautifully sweet! (Tear) I'm so beyond happy for you @ciara that God has blessed you with the true love of your life & beautiful loving family," a fan gushed. "Girl you better bask in that glory. You deserve it all Cici, you've always had a wonderful spirit and good heart," another wrote.
Ciara and Russell got married last year after a year of dating. They share one child together, daughter Sienna, who was born in April. The "Sorry" songstress also has a son from her relationship with Future.
