Are Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton officially wife and husband now? The pair, who started dating in 2015, allegedly exchanged wedding vows in front of family and close friends in a secret ceremony as they "want to be together forever."

According to Life & Style, they tied the knot in the backyard of Gwen's house in Los Angeles. "After hitting a rough patch in their romance earlier this year, they have reconnected and are stronger than ever," an insider told the publication. "They want to be together forever, so they decided to just do it. They were in the backyard at Gwen’s home in L.A. with just family and a few close friends. It was super low-key."

The insider explained that the No Doubt frontwoman wanted the wedding to be solely about their love. "Gwen didn't want the day to be about what designer she was wearing or which other celebrities were there," the insider continued. "It was going to be a day about their love story and nothing else." However, the couple might hold another wedding ceremony later. "There definitely will be a much larger church wedding later this year to make the marriage official," the insider shared.

Gwen and Blake reportedly wrote their own vows. The insider said, "Gwen... spoke about being so blessed to have found love again at this stage in her life. She didn't believe in love after getting divorced, but Blake showed her a whole new world." However, Blake's rep later told HollywoodLife.com that the secret wedding rumors were "not true."

It was previously reported that they didn't want to get married as they were happy with how things were. "Blake and Gwen are having a wonderful time being together and they know everyone is waiting for them to get engaged and get married," a source revealed. "And as much as they have talked about that, they have also talked about not ruining a good thing with an extra title."
