Celebrity

The 'Stronger' singer took to Twitter on the Fourth of July to share a heartfelt message in order to celebrate America's birthday, before a Twitter user unnecessarily replied the tweet, 'You're fat.'

AceShowbiz - People need to stop trolling and fat-shaming others. One of the recent victims of fat-shaming is pop star Kelly Clarkson, though the Grammy-winning singer has her own classy way to shut down the trolls.

The new "The Voice" season 14 coach took to Twitter on the Fourth of July to share a heartfelt message in order to celebrate America's birthday. "Thank u 2 every person in service 4 protecting all of us and cheers to every person who fought for us to experience freedom & independence," she wrote, before @Euger23 unnecessarily replied the tweet, "You're fat."

The "Because of You" crooner, however, knew how to deal such a troll. She coolly responded the hateful tweet, "...and still f**king awesome."

Some Twitter user loved Kelly's way of roasting the hater. "YES KELLY QUEEN!!!! You are gorgeous f**k the haters!!!!" wrote @mattymonsters. "YAAAAAAS QUEEN, DRAG HIMMM !!! YOU ARE AWESOME !!!" another user joined in. "and the f**king greatest?! Like how dare they dISRESPECT THE QUEEN. I love you Kelly!!," @ohWalnut came in defense of her idol.

The 35-year-old is often been criticized over her weight. Fox News Sunday's Chris Wallace and radio host Mike Galagher mocked Kelly over her weight on "The Mike Gallagher Show" back in 2015. "Have you seen Kelly Clarkson? You know the singer, Kelly Clarkson? Holy cow, did she blow up," Mike said at that time.

Mike later apologized to the singer in a statement. "I sincerely apologize to Kelly Clarkson for my offensive comment. I admire her remarkable talent and that should have been the focus of any discussion about her."
