New "Dunkirk" teasers have been released ahead of its July release date. Making their way out via Daily Mail, the intense videos see Harry Styles, Tom Hardy and Fionn Whitehead's characters in an extremely critical state.

The first teaser, titled "Trapped", shows injured soldiers being guided to the below deck of a ship. When nurses take care of them and they sip a cup of tea, the ship is blown by the enemy, causing the soldiers trapped in deep water. Styles' character can be seen screaming in the water as he struggles to save himself from drowning.

The second teaser, titled "Hunted", sees Hardy's RAF pilot character flying his plane, which is hunted and later shot by the enemies. The shots send Hardy's plane plummeting towards the English Channel.

The third teaser, titled "Surrounded", features Whitehead's character trying to escape from German troops. He manages to jump over a fence, but then the troops try to fire at him. He seemingly can't fire back, as his gun jams when he tries to use it. Like the previous teasers, the teaser leaves us on a cliffhanger, as we're not sure whether or not Whitehead's character manages to fix his gun in the end.

In May 1940, Germany advanced into France, trapping Allied troops on the beaches of Dunkirk. Under air and ground cover from British and French forces, troops were slowly and methodically evacuated from the beach using every serviceable naval and civilian vessel that could be found. At the end of this heroic mission, 330,000 French, British, Belgian and Dutch soldiers were safely evacuated.

Directed by Christopher Nolan, "Dunkirk" is set to be released in the U.S. on July 21.
