Poor reviews don't stop the team behind "Baywatch" from planning a movie franchise. Producer Beau Flynn has said that the team is planning to make a potential sequel, which will bring back Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Zac Efron and "all the girls" in "Baywatch". Writers Damian Shannon and Mark Swift will return to co-write the script as well.

"We have an amazing story already," Flynn told Variety at a New York City screening of "Baywatch". "We're bringing back Shannon and Swift who wrote on the first one, and I know Dwayne would be in, I know Zac and all the girls would be. We just have this really cool idea to put them in this whole new world. We would take it overseas," he added.

Cast members gave positive reactions to the possible sequel. Kelly Rohrbach said that she would be glad to return for the potential "Baywatch 2". "Of course!" she said. "I couldn't have asked for a better cast on my first film. These guys are awesome. They're hilarious, they're loving, they're generous. We really were a family and I think that comes though on the screen, as well," she continued.

Alexandra Daddario said, "Yes! I would love to. I think it's very cool to be part of a franchise, and I think it helps get other work. It's fun. You get to travel the world and work with these amazing people, and you get to make people laugh, so I'm completely down for it."

"Baywatch" follows devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) as he butts heads with a brash new recruit. Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay. So far, the movie has a 18 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Audiences, meanwhile, give the movie a B+ CinemaScore.

"Baywatch" is currently screening at U.S. theaters.
