Katy Perry has finally addressed her infamous feud with Taylor Swift. During her appearance in a new episode of "Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special", the "Bon Appetit" songstress wasn't holding back when host James Corden asked her about the ugly beef.
"There's a situation. Honestly, it's really like she started it, and it's time for her to finish it," Perry confirmed to Corden, after the two sang her latest single, "Swish Swish", which reportedly includes references to Swift. "I tried to talk to her about it and she wouldn't speak to me," Perry continued.
"I do the right thing anytime that it feels like a fumble. It was a full shut-down and then she writes a song about me and I'm like 'OK, cool, cool, cool. That's how you wanna deal with it?' " she added, referencing to Swift's "Bad Blood" that many people believed was about the new "American Idol" judge.
"But, what I wanna say is that I'm ready for that B.S. to be done," Perry shared. "Now, there is the law of cause and effect. You do something and there's going to be a reaction. And trust me daddy, there's going to be a reaction. It's all about karma."
Would the two singers put their feud to the bed? Perry just laughed off when asked by Cordon if she would "take that beef off the grill." The funny host said, "Would it be enough to just receive a text from Taylor Swift that just said, 'The beef is off the grill?' " to which Katy responded, "Yeah, absolutely. 100 percent."
