A new TV spot for "Transformers: The Last Knight" has been released for the audience's viewing pleasure. Set to the narration from Sir Edmund Burton (Anthony Hopkins), the TV spot offers an awesome look at the history of Transformers. It is revealed that Transformers have actually existed since a long time ago to join the most epic battles in history, including those which involve Samurai and Nazi.
"It started as legend," says Burton as the TV spot shows a room full of portraits and statues of historical figures. "One of the greatest of all, one of the oldest of all. But every legend has a secret. They have been here forever in the shadows to protect Earth from what destined to arrive," Burton continues. Elsewhere in the trailer, a picture of a Transformer and a group of Samurai is shown. There is also an epic scene in which a Transformer fights against Nazi.
A new poster has also been released, featuring a massive Transformer amid the war zone.
"The Last Knight" shatters the core myths of the "Transformers" franchise and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone.
The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), Bumblebee, an English Lord, and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
"Transformers: The Last Knight" is set to hit U.S. theaters on June 21.
