A new promotional material for 'Transformers: The Last Knight' sees that Optimus Prime has a new body, which some of the parts resemble those of Bumblebee.

New "Transformers: The Last Knight" promotional material offers an intriguing look at Optimus Prime. A standee at Toys'R'Us, which photo has been obtained by Screen Rant, shows that Optimus Prime will get a new body in the upcoming movie. In addition, we can see that some parts of Optimus' new body really resemble those of Bumblebee.
This sparks speculation whether Optimus will somehow merge Bumblebee's body into his. The two have often been seen battling in the trailers, which hint that Optimus will be modified by his creators into a maniac which attacks his loyal follower. There is an assumption that Optimus eventually destroys Bumblebee and adds his leftovers on his body.
Another theory says that Optimus and Bumblebee willingly merge their bodies into one, presumably to win some battle. There is also a theory that, instead of Optimus, it is Bumblebee who is depicted in the standee. According to the theory, Optimus may sacrifice himself and donate his body to Bumblebee, his loyal soldier. Whether the theories are true remains to be seen.
"The Last Knight" shatters the core myths of the "Transformers" franchise and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone.
