The first teaser art for the upcoming "Marvel's Inhumans" has arrived online ahead of its September IMAX premiere. The poster suggests that the series will stay faithful to the original source as it features the recognizable white accents from the costume of Black Bolt (Anson Mount), the silent King of the Inhumans.

Although it features none of the characters, the poster, which was shared via Twitter account of the series, teases that the upcoming ABC series will be "beyond humanity." The account captions the image, "Beyond humanity. Here's a look at the first teaser art for Marvel's #Inhumans."

Co-produced with IMAX, the Marvel-related series will be consisting of eight episodes. "Inhumans" follows the Royal Family of the Inhumans, a race of genetically advanced humans with extraordinary powers introduced in 1965 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in Marvel's "Fantastic Four". After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.

Also starring on the series are Serinda Swan as Medusa, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal and Sonya Balmores as Auran. The cast also includes Mike Moh as Triton, Iwan Rheon as Maximus and Ellen Woglom in an undisclosed role. Lockjaw will also be featured on the series.

Scott Buck, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory are set to executive produce the series with Marvel Television and ABC Studios co-producing. Buck also serves as showrunner. Roel Reine will helm the first two episodes of the series.

"Inhumans" will screen for two weeks in IMAX theaters starting on Friday, September 1. It will be followed by its television debut on ABC this fall.
