David Thewlis' Ares has finally been introduced in a new "Wonder Woman" TV Spot. The TV spot offers a look at Ares under the pseudonym Sir Patrick Morgan, who dresses in fancy suit and sports mustache.
In the video, Sir Morgan, who is a superior to Chris Pine's Steve Trevor, asks the latter a rather difficult question. "Who is this young woman?" he asks, addressing Gal Gadot's Diana Prince. Steve replies, "She's my...uh...she and I are...working together, Sir." Sir Morgan responds with a smile. The TV spot ends with Diana proudly introducing herself as "Princess of Themys--", before Steve cuts and says, "Prince. Diana Prince."
Director Patty Jenkins has also shared "Wonder Woman" footage on her Twitter account. The footage briefly features "Wonder Woman" fighting Ares, who wears his armor. It also sees Ares' armored hand surrounded with fire. Considering that "Wonder Woman" is set in World War I, it's possible that Ares, whose characterization is based on the god of war in Greek mythology, is responsible for the deadly event in the movie.

In related news, Jenkins revealed to Toronto Sun that she would be excited to make a sequel of "Wonder Woman". "I'm excited for her to come to America and become the Wonder Woman we are all familiar with from having grown up around her as an American superhero," says Jenkins.
The director adds, "I'd like to bring her a little farther along into the future and have a fun, exciting storyline that is its own thing. 'Wonder Woman 1' is so much about her becoming the person she is. I can't wait to spring forward with who she is and have another great standalone superhero film."
"Wonder Woman" is set to be released in U.S. theaters on June 2. Other cast members include Danny Huston, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis, Ewan Bremner, Elena Anaya and Lisa Loven Kongsli.
