Talking to Daily Star, the British singer said, "I do know which role I am going to play." He later confirmed the fate of his character, "I don't die in it, I don't die." With the confirmation that his role survives the HBO hit series' season 7, it's not impossible to see him returning for season 8.

"My friend guested in it in 2012 and I remember I was on tour with him and he was like, 'Right, I've got a guest slot on 'Game Of Thrones',' " Ed opened up. He added, "I remember saying, 'You got to get me on it at some point.' It's been five years so it's finally come true."

"Game of Thrones" season 7 will premiere on Sunday, July 16.
