AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez recently flew to Brazil to support his boyfriend The Weeknd on the South American leg of his "Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour". After the Canadian singer performed for his Brazilian fans at the Autodromo de Interlagos on Sunday, March 26, the couple had a private backstage time when he reportedly sang a song that made Selena cry.
"The Weeknd, 26, laid it on thick to Selena Gomez, 24, after his show, when they were together backstage in private," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "When they got a moment alone, he just started singing Usher's 'Superstar' to her." Selena was reportedly crying after being serenaded by her beau. "She damn near lost it," the source said, "And cried. Abel keeps surprising her with the most genuine and spontaneous of things."
The source continued, "He was all up in it too, singing the hell out of the hook, telling her 'he'll be her groupie because she's his superstar and he's her number one fan!' " before adding, "He wanted Selena to know just how much he adores her, and how thankful he is to have her with him on his tour."
During the concert, the former Disney darling was spotted cheering on her man from the sidelines. She looked gorgeous in a sleeveless white top with U-shaped neckline paired with a simple necklace. She was all smiles when she was caught on the jumbotron as The Weeknd performed Belly's "Might Not".
