'Feud' 1.2 Preview: Joan Is Planning to Lobby Academy Awards to Vote Against Bette

The video features the agony of Bette has to face since her daughter despise her while the feud between her and longtime rival Joan is still strongly going on as she has something up her sleeve.

AceShowbiz - FX just premiered its highly-anticipated series "Feud" on Monday, March 5. Following the successful premiere, FX has released a new promo video for the next episode of the anthology series, which stars %cSusan Sarandon% as Bette Davis and %cJessica Lange% as Joan Crawford.

The most interesting and intriguing part in the video is perhaps when Joan plans something out with Hedda Hopper (%cJudy Davis%). She says on the video, "Lobby the Academy to vote against her." The two seem satisfied with their evil plan, presumably against Bette, as they are having a drink together to celebrate their brilliant plan. It is followed by a scene of Bette walking with her daughter, looking furious as she throws something to rubbish bin.

The video sees Bette opening up about all of her problems to Robert (%cAlfred Molina%), "All my failed marriages and my daughter hates me. And for what?" Robert simply responds, "For the work." Later the video shows the still ongoing feud between Bette and Joan. Bette taunts Joan as she says, "Your time has passed." Trying hard to remain calm, Joans asks, "Says who?" to which Bette simply responds, "Everybody."

The one-minute video also features Olivia de Havilland (%cCatherine Zeta-Jones%) telling the reporters about 1962's Oscars as the red carpet scene of the award-giving event is briefly glimpsed. She says such an intriguing remark, "The 1962 Oscars, that's when things took such an ugly turn." Later it is transitioned to a scene during Bette's press conference when one of the reporters asks her to give a comment on her Oscar snub. She calmly replies while smoking a cigarette, "Defines snub."

The teaser highlights the other side of the main characters on the series, putting their feud aside. B.D. Hyman (%cKiernan Shipka%) says to her pitiful mother, "Look at you. You're single. Lonely." Apparently, it's not only Bette who has to deal with loneliness. Joan is seen getting emotional in her bedroom, saying "When you wake up and all you got left is yourself."

Directed by Ryan Murphy, "The Other Woman" will air on Sunday, March 12 at 10 P.M. on FX.
