AceShowbiz - Katy Perry has a unique way to promote her new single "Chained to the Rhythm". Prior to releasing the track on Friday, February 10, Perry and her team have placed chained disco balls all over the world that allow fans to listen to her new single.

Early Wednesday, February 8, Perry posted on Instagram a short video of herself plugging headphones into a jack on the top of a disco ball. As the camera zooms in, viewers can see the singer's fancy black-and-white manicure with "find me" written on her nails. She is clearly inviting fans to find their local disco ball.

So far, fans have found these disco balls in cities like Chicago, San Fransisco, London, Paris, Los Angeles, Milan and more. There is also a dedicated map, which shows the locations of disco balls around the globe. Instead of containing the entire song, the disco balls just play some parts of the song.

Shortly after finding the disco balls, fans began sharing pictures of themselves on Twitter using hashtag #ChainedToTheRhythm". "I LOVE #CHAINEDTOTHERHYTHM @katyperry QUEEN," one fan wrote, while another gushed, "Okay this is nuts. There's a disco ball at Nathan Phillips Sq PLAYING BRAND NEW @KATYPERRY. Go check it out #ChainedToTheRhythm."

Some fans also shared parts of the song's lyrics. "Spoiler, lyrics: Shine bright like a diamond. Shine bright like a disco ball #ChainedToTheRhythm @katyperry," a fan tweeted, while Perry also seemed to have shared one of the lyrics. "So put your rose colored glasses on...and party on...," so she tweeted.

Perry first teased "Chained to the Rhythm" by sharing on Instagram on Tuesday, February 7 a preview of the song's accompanying music video. The video sees the singer walking in silver stilettos with a disco ball chained to her ankle as the reggae-inspired song is playing in the background. She will likely debut the track at the Grammys on Sunday, February 12.
