Golden Globe-winning movie "La La Land" is dancing its way to you even closer. Following the Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone-starring musical's big win at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group reveals the possibility of bringing "La La Land" onstage with live musical show.

In a presentation at Inventors Day event in Denver on Tuesday, January 10, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group co-president Erik Feig told investors, "If we want to do a stage show, we can do a stage show." Feig added, "We haven't hit out full expansion," referring to Oscar nomination announcement later on January 22.

During the presentation, Feig mentioned that "Step Up" franchise, which has expanded into a live stage show currently playing in Dubai, inspired him to translate Damien Chazelle's movie into a live stage production.

"La La Land", directed by Damien Chazelle, took home seven statuettes at the 74th Golden Globe Awards, including Best Director-Motion Picture, Best Motion Picture-Musical or Comedy, Best Original Score-Musical or Comedy, Best Original Song-Motion Picture, Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture-Musical or Comedy, Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture-Musical or Comedy, and Best Screenplay-Motion Picture. The movie also scores 11 nominations at the upcoming BAFTAs.
