Emma Stone ran into her ex Andrew Garfield at the 2017 AFI Awards luncheon held at the Four Seasons hotel in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon, January 6. After the "Hacksaw Ridge" actor was spotted walking over to the 28-year-old actress' table and sitting next to her, they were heard chatting.
According to E! News, Stone told Garfield, "I feel so much better." Garfield continued to talk to her and "La La Land" director Damien Chazelle after he stood up. The 33-year-old actor then headed to the "Silence" table, where he was greeted by director Martin Scorsese.
Garfield attended the event to support his two movies, "Hacksaw Ridge" and "Silence". He was also joined by "Hacksaw Ridge" director Mel Gibson, who was accompanied by his pregnant partner Rosalind Ross, co-stars Luke Bracey and Vince Vaughn. Stone, meanwhile, was joined by her "La La Land" co-star Ryan Gosling.
Stone and Garfield began dating after they met on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man". They dated for three years before ending their relationship in late 2015. "There was no drama, they've been apart while working. They still care about each other," a source revealed at the time. "They still have love for one another. They are on good terms with each other and remain close."
