Reports of Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield breaking up are getting louder. The young couple are said to have split a few months ago after three years of dating.

"There was no drama, they've been apart while working. They still care about each other," a source told PEOPLE, adding "They still have love for one another. They are on good terms with each other and remain close."

News of the split began surfacing in April when they reportedly took a break due to long distance. In the past few weeks, rumors also started that they have taken another break after she allegedly developed some feelings for her "La La Land" co-star, Ryan Gosling. "It doesn't matter how many times Ryan tells [partner] Eva [Mendes] that he and Emma are just friends, she knows there's an attraction there," a source told tabloid Star.

To be fair, Stone and Garfield have never publicly confirmed that they are an item. They met on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man" and dated for a few years without referring each other as boyfriend and girlfriend or even acknowledging the nature of their relationship in interviews.

Garfield was hard at work on Martin Scorsese's "Silence" which was shot in Taiwan earlier this year. He is currently in Sydney, Australia to film "Hacksaw Ridge" and Australia's KIIS 106.5 reported that he's been telling locals he's a single man. When out partying with Vince Vaughn and Mel Gibson at Pelicano Bar over the weekend, he was allegedly asked about Stone. He reportedly replied, "We're not together anymore."

The couple was last seen together in August in Los Angeles.
