The remaining episodes of second season of the series will reveal a surprising history of Russell Tovey's character Harry Doyle.

AceShowbiz - "Quantico" creator Joshua Safran has promised a lot of storyline to happen in the remaining episodes of ABC's hit series. He also teased that the drama would be going to "dive deeply" into Harry Doyle's (Russell Tovey) backstory.

"After we came up with the Alex-and-Ryan spine for the season, we came up with the Harry story, way back in June. A lot happens with that storyline between now and the near future," Joshua told TVLine.

The biggest question mark of Harry's story is his relationship with Elliot, to which he was referring, on which he lied and talked vaguely, but the circumstances surrounding the death of Harry's former lover remains unclear.

Meanwhile, viewers got some clue from the midseason finale, when Harry spent the holiday with Elliot's sister, Charlotte, and her family. Charlotte is known as Harry's superior and based on the conversation he had with Charlotte's husband, Pip, it seems that Elliott's father is not the best person in the world.

According to Joshua, Harry has used his current assignment at The Farm to avoid dealing with all of this. "And now Pip has really fired that mission up again. So the question is: Does he really want to look?" he said.

The answer should be a yes. Joshua has teased that he recently wrote a three-page monologue for Tovey. He also mentioned that viewers' questions would be answered in the near future. "Which means to Harry how his past now affects Sebastian (David Lim) and Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra), and how the revelations he made in the lead thesis, which is in my mind for the series: Nobody is just one thing," he said.

"Quantico" also stars Jake McLaughin as Ryan Booth, Aunjanue Ellis as Miranda Shaw, Yasmine Al Massri as Nimah and Raina Amin, Johanna Braddy as Shelby Wyatt, Pearl Thusi as Dayana Mampas, Blair Underwood as Owen Hall and Aaron Diaz as Leon Velez.

"Quantico" returns on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 10 P.M. ET on ABC.
