AceShowbiz - Joan Rivers is still celebrating Christmas two years after her death. A bunch of her fans freaked out on Sunday morning, December 25 after the comedienne's official Twitter page was updated with a merry Christmas message.

"Merry Christmas!" read the caption written alongside a picture of the late star, who died in September 2014 at the age of 81 due to complication during a minor surgery, wearing an all-black outfit while standing in front of a fully-decorated Christmas tree.

Responding to the post, some fans left various comments below it. "JOAN RIVERS JUST TWEETED FROM THE GRAVE AND I CAN'T EVEN GET A TEXT BACK," one Twitter user wrote. "Tweeting from the beyond like 2016 wasn't already some hellishness," another said. "B***h I thought you were dead," another simply tweeted.

Some also commented on it with hilarious memes showing people screaming and getting scared. One fan even jokingly shared a screengrab of Rivers' Wikipedia page highlighting her date of death. "Just to be sure," the fan wrote alongside the image.

The merry Christmas message is interesting not only because it's sent out years after Rivers' passing, but also because she's actually a Jewish. A day earlier, her daughter Melissa Rivers shared on her mom's Twitter page a throwback picture of them celebrating Hanukkah in 2013.
