A promo for the first season of the teen drama shows the complicated relationship between the three characters who are played by K.J. Apa, Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes.

A new promo for "Riverdale" has been released by The CW. Sharing some new scenes, it teases a classic love triangle between Archie (KJ Apa), Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Veronica (Camila Mendes).
The video begins with a scene where Archie puts his shirt on while Betty, whose bedroom is aligned with Archie's room, gawks at his muscular body alongside her gay friend Kevin Keller (Casey Cott).
Another scene shows Archie and Betty casually hanging out in Pop Tate's restaurant Choklit Shoppe as Betty says to Archie, "I've been thinking about us," just a moment before Archie is distracted by the dark-haired beauty, Veronica, who later interrupts their conversation. Betty is clearly bothered by the way Archie looks at Veronica.
The video also includes commentaries from the cast members. Apa says of the love triangle, "When he [Archie] sees Veronica, it's just endgame." Meanwhile, Reinhart teases some unexpected twists. "It's going to be really, really exciting to see what actually is going to happen," she says.
The teen drama also stars Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Luke Perry as Fred Andrews, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Sarah Habel as Ms. Grundy, Ross Butler as Reggie Mantle, Madchen Amick as Alice Cooper, Marisol Nichols as Hermione Lodge, Shannon Purser as Ethel Muggs, and Robin Givens as Mayor Sierra McCoy.
"Riverdale" is set to premiere on January 26, 2017 on The CW.
