The first trailer for the third installment of the new 'Planet of the Apes' franchise shows a ruthless Colonel who makes it his mission to capture Caesar and his people.

The first trailer is unleashed for "War for the Planet of the Apes". It follows Caesar and his people in the aftermath of "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes". He looks furious when humans come after him, "I did not start this war. I offered you peace. I showed you mercy. But now you are here. To finish us off. For good."
Caesar is pitted against The Colonel in this movie. Played by Woody Harrelson, the ruthless leader of what's left of human soldiers says, "All of human history has led to this moment. The irony is we created you, and nature has been punishing us ever since. This is our last stand, and if we lose, it will be ... a planet of apes."
Andy Serkis returns to do a motion-capture performance for Caesar and lends his voice to the character. The third installment of the rebooted "Planet of the Apes" franchise is scheduled to arrive in theaters across the country starting July 14, 2017.
