Illumination's animated musical "Sing" had its premiere on Saturday night, December 3 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Attending the event were legendary artist Stevie Wonder as well as voice actors like Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Hudson, Seth MacFarlane, Tori Kelly and Taron Egerton.

McConaughey was accompanied by wife Camila Alves on the red carpet. Meanwhile, Wonder performed several songs, including "Superstition" and "Jingle Bells", before joking on stage, "I'm not really Stevie Wonder." "Sing" director Garth Jennings, who was also in attendance, proudly said, "There's Stevie Wonder, standing right there, and he is a legend," as he pointed to the singer.

Aside from Wonder, McFarlane also took the stage during the event, doing his jazzy number. Kelly later hit the stage along with Hudson. They performed a duet of "Hallelujah". The surprise show was followed by an after-party featuring gift bags, a feast of food and a live DJ among others. There was also a T-shirt-making station where guests could make their own "Sing" character.

"Sing" is set for a December 21 release in U.S. theaters. Written and directed by Jennings, who's worked on music videos for the likes of Radiohead, Vampire Weekend, Beck and Blur, the animated comedy flick also features the voices of Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly, Leslie Jones and Jay Pharoah.
