Taylor Swift is named the biggest moneymaker in music industry this year. According to Forbes, the country/pop singer has raked in a whooping $170 million. Her earnings come from music, tour and numerous lucrative deals including with Apple.
One Direction boys follow at the runner-up place with an estimated $110 million and Adele rounds up the top 3 with $80.5 million in her pocket. Madonna is ranked fourth with $76.5 million and Rihanna sits at No. 5 with $75 million.
AC/DC lands in the seventh spot with $67.5 million, The Rolling Stones occupies the eighth position with $66.5 million, P. Diddy rounds up the top 10 with $62 million, while Bruce Springsteen trails closely behind at No. 11 with $60.5 million.
Justin Bieber settles at No. 13 with $56 million. Further down the list are powerhouse couple Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z. They are ranked No. 17 and 18 with $54 million and $53.5 million respectively.
