Brad Pitt was about to meet his six children Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8, on the Thanksgiving weekend. He returned to L.A. on Saturday, November 26 after his Turks and Caicos vacation, but Angelina Jolie canceled their visit at the very last minute.

"Brad came back from Turks & Caicos on Saturday because Angie's team had assured him that he would see the kids," an insider reveals, "He got back late Saturday afternoon and called to arrange the drop-off. He was told there would be no visit because Angie had changed her mind."

The insider tells InTouch Weekly, "Brad was very angry and disappointed. [He] wanted to have a belated gathering at his house on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. Angie is still fighting Brad for sole custody, and it's going to get even more brutal."

Brad and Angie spent their first Thanksgiving apart this year. While Angie and her children remained in L.A., Brad jetted off to Amanyara in Turks and Caicos "hanging out with one of his buddies." Villas at the luxury resort can go for up to $34,000 per night.

"He was at Amanyara in Turks and Caicos over Thanksgiving in a private villa," a source told Page Six, "Angie wouldn't let him see the kids." A second source added, "Brad was with one of his male buddies for the weekend."

Reps for the former couple haven't responded to a request for comment.
