Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson adds Sexiest Man Alive to his resume. The WWE pro-turned-actor graces the cover of PEOPLE's latest issue. He follows in the footsteps of David Beckham, Chris Hemsworth, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Harrison Ford and many more.

It marks the first time in 20 years a non-white star gets the title. Denzel Washington was the first black actor to receive the title back in 1996. "I'm proud we published the first ['Sexiest Man Alive' with a person of color]. I'm not proud we published the last," he said back then.

"This just means I'm still up at 4am trainin' hard, takin' care of my babies, drivin' my pick up truck and tellin' a few dirty/nerdy jokes... extremely sexily of course," he responds on Instagram. "Remember, sexy isn't something you 'try and be'. Sexy happens naturally when you're comfortable just being yourself. Trust me, I'm an expert at this."

In his cover story, The Rock jokes that he's going to use the title to his advantage the next time his wife who loves to tease him decides to have a go at him. "Now I've got an ace that I'm going to thrown down on the table. No one can tell me anything," he laughs.

He also hints at running for President. "I used to say it jokingly but every time I was asked, it was with a real genuine interest. And it was very earnest," he says. "And so I started to really think. Could I make a difference? Could I surround myself with really brilliant people to help me make decisions? Do I care about this country? And when the answers continued to come up yes, then I thought, there's a good chance. Yeah, one day. Then we'll do another interview like this."
