Miranda Kerr's security guard was stabbed in the eye and an intruder was shot in the face during an altercation at her Malibu mansion on Friday morning, October 14. The security guard was trying to fight off the armed intruder who entered the property by jumping over a fence.

The intruder armed with a knife was shot three or four times in the face and body while the security guard was stabbed below the eye. The shooting was reported at around 11:05 A.M. Both of them were airlifted to a Los Angeles hospital by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The intruder is in critical condition.

LA County Sheriff's Office said, "Deputies responded to a shots fired call in Malibu. They discovered a security guard had been involved in a physical altercation with an intruder. The guard was stabbed in the facial injury and he had minor injuries. He produced a handgun and shot the intruder three to four times in the face and torso. Neither the guard nor the intruder has life threatening injuries."

"It's kind of a crazy thing to happen out here in Malibu," Miranda's neighbor Craig Moore told KTLA, "I guess it happens everywhere but we just don't ever have it happen in our neighborhood."

Miranda was reportedly not home when the incident occurred. Her fiance Evan Spiegel recently gifted her with a $12 million mansion in the Brentwood neighborhood.

A representative for Miranda hasn't commented on the issue yet.
