Celebrity

Rumor has it, the 'American Idol' alum who gave birth to her second child in April is now ready to get her pre-baby body back for the sake of her marriage to Brandon Blackstock.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson might be in no rush to lose the baby weight as soon as she gave birth to her child, but she now thinks it's time to shape up. The 34-year-old singer is reportedly trying to get her pre-baby body back in an attempt to save her marriage to Brandon Blackstock as well as to stay healthy.

"She wants to have energy to take care of her kids and her career," a source tells OK! Magazine. The so-called insider adds to the site, "Kelly doesn't want to give Brandon any excuse to stray." Kelly reportedly has lost nearly 50 pounds already and is going to reveal her new body in December.

Kelly gave birth to her and Brandon's second child, Remington Alexander Blackstock, in April. They are also parents to a 2-year-old daughter, River Rose Blackstock. She tells E! News about being a mother to two kids, "There is a giant difference between one kid and two, and then there's an even bigger one: We have two older ones as well." She's referring to her husband's two children from his previous marriage.

"A lot of times we'll have four kids in one house, so that's a lot of kids," she says, before adding, "but, it's good. It's like 99 percent of the time is amazing and awesome. I didn't grow up around my sisters or brothers...It's a big family."

Asked if she and Brandon plan to have more kids, she answers, "No! Unless someone dies and gives us their kids or something, no. I had miserable pregnancies, that's why."

The "Since U Been Gone" songstress has been promoting her latest children's book "River Rose and the Magical Lullaby".
