Mark Wahlberg said that he might team up with NBA star LeBron James in "Ballers". During his appearance in the Tuesday, September 20 episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", the "Ted" actor told Jimmy Fallon that he was in talks with the 31-year-old basketball player to star in the fantasy comedy about basketball league.

"[LeBron] and I are talking about doing a movie together," Mark told Jimmy after the 42-year-old television host showed a photo of Mark with LeBron in Mark's house. "It's actually a great idea. It's based around the fantasy league, so these guys get to go to one of these fantasy camps, and me and LeBron have a situation."

The Universal and Imagine Entertainment comedy was originally going to co-star Kevin Hart, but Kevin is no longer attached to the project. "Entourage" creator Doug Ellin is on board to write the script. It's unclear whether Mark will also produce the movie or not, but Brian Grazer and Michael Rosenberg will serve as producers.

LeBron is no stranger to the big-screen, having appeared in Judd Apatow's 2015 comedy "Trainwreck". He is tapped to star in Justin Lin's "Space Jam 2". As for Mark, the Oscar-nominated actor's next film is "Deepwater Horizon", which arrives in U.S. theaters on September 30. The 45-year-old actor is currently filming his part for "Transformers: The Last Knight".
