Jennifer Aniston on Ex-Husband Brad Pitt's Divorce From Angelina Jolie: That's 'Karma'

Is this what Jennifer Aniston really thinks of Brad Pitt's latest split? Shortly after it's revealed that Angelina Jolie had filed for divorce from the actor, Us Weekly reported that the "Friends" alum discussed it with a longtime pal and said her ex-husband's failed marriage was a "karma."

Aniston was married to Pitt before he began romancing Jolie, whom he met while they were working together on "Mr and Mrs Smith". A source close to the 47-year-old actress told the news outlet that she had no ill will toward him, but she always knew his relationship with Jolie would never work.

"She always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually," the insider continued and added that while Aniston believed Pitt did love Jolie, she thought that the "Maleficent" star wasn't "truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with." The source explained, "She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He's a pretty simple guy."

Another source told the publication that Aniston "admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina's split," but she "never wanted this for them or wished this on them."

"Jen does wish Brad luck and the best. She feels like she's happy, and she wants him to be happy too," the second insider said. "Jen does not hold on to any negativity from her marriage to Brad."

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt earlier this week, citing irreconcilable differences and listing the date of separation as September 15, 2016. She reportedly decided to break up with him over his parenting style which she thought was dangerous for their kids.

As for Aniston, she has completely moved on from Pitt and is now happily married to Justin Theroux. However, a bunch of fans couldn't help but bring her up after the Brangelina divorce news broke.
