AceShowbiz - Sofia Vergara and Kaley Cuoco dominate the game on the small screen in 2016. The "Modern Family" star and "The Big Bang Theory" beauty occupy the top spot and the runner-up position respectively in Forbes' annual list of highest-paid TV actresses.
Vergara, 44, has pocketed a whooping $43 million, thanks to her regular role as loving wife and mother Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on "Modern Family" and various lucrative endorsement deals. It's her consecutive year as the biggest-earning female star on TV.
30-year-old Cuoco follows at the second spot with a cool $24.5 million. Her earnings mostly come from her main role as outgoing Penny on "Big Bang Theory". She and her male co-stars are estimated to earn $1 million per episode on the CBS sitcom.
Mindy Kaling trails behind at the third place, moving up from last year's No. 9 with $15 million. Rounding up the top 5 are Mariska Hargitay of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and Ellen Pompeo of "Grey's Anatomy". They are tied with $14.5 million each.
