Lea Michele is back on the market. The "Glee" alum has reportedly called it quits with her boyfriend Robert Buckley after dating for around two months. The split, however, was reportedly amicable.
"[They] just found they were better off as friends and wanted to support each other's careers," a source reveals to Us Weekly, adding that the former couple's busy schedules were partially to blame for the breakup.
Another source tells E! News that the exes "are still friends" post-split.
Lea's romance with Robert may be over, but their professional relationship isn't. They are co-stars on upcoming Hulu sci-fi drama "Dimension 404". In mid-June, Lea shared some set photos of her and Robert. Just a few days ago, Lea spent her Fourth of July weekend with Robert and some of her friends, including her former "Glee" co-star Becca Tobin.
Lea and Robert first sparked dating rumors in May after they were spotted on a dinner date at Milo & Olive in Santa Monica. At the time, an eyewitness shared, "They were sitting at the bar all cuddly. He pushed her chair in for her and everything." A second onlooker added, "They were interlocked the whole time they were sitting at the counter, like arms wrapped around each other at their seats and rubbing each other's backs. At one point ... they had either just kissed or were super close talking."
Prior to her relationship with Robert, Lea was dating Matthew Paetz for two years.
