Actor Dennis Quaid and his wife Kimberly, a real estate agent, called it quits again. She filed for divorce in Los Angeles this week. It was a mutual decision and the couple agreed to share custody of their 8-year-old twins, Thomas and Zoe.
"After careful consideration, we have decided to end our 12 year marriage. The decision was made amicably and with mutual respect toward one another," they say in a joint statement to TMZ. "We will always remain great friends and devoted partners in raising our children."
Dennis Quaid, now 62, married Kimberly in July 2004. She first filed for divorce in March 2012, claiming their marriage had become "insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities." She withdrew her divorce papers a couple months later. The couple split again in October, and the actor filed for divorce from his wife the following month. They managed to reconcile once again in 2013.
Kimberly is Dennis' third wife. He was previously married to P.J. Soles and then to Meg Ryan. He shares a 24-year-old son, Jack Henry, with Meg.
