Rihanna has recorded a song for the soundtrack of "Star Trek Beyond" and she's releasing it on Monday, June 27. Before the track called "Sledgehammer" arrives in full, the Bajan beauty previewed it in a video that she shared on social media Sunday.
The 22-second sneak-peek doesn't have Rihanna's vocals, and instead features a haunting and dramatic beat that plays as the screen shows the film's cast members. RiRi's own face appears towards the end of the clip, which came with a caption that read, "@StarTrekMovie fans, be up tomorrow by 8am EST for a special premiere!"

"Sledgehammer" may be a song Rihanna already teased two years ago. Back in 2014, she cryptically tweeted what could be the lyrics, "You're just another brick and I'm a sledgehammer."
"Star Trek Beyond" is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on July 22. The highly-anticipated film, directed by Justin Lin, will see Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin and more reprising their roles from the previous films. No release date has been set for the accompanying soundtrack album.
