The champion of 'American Idol' season 8 shares the first picture of his newborn baby girl on Instagram a couple days of she was born.

It's a girl for Kris Allen and his wife Katy. The winner of "American Idol" season 8 welcomed his second child, a bouncing baby girl, on Saturday, June 18. The proud dad introduced his newborn on Instagram two days later.
"It's A Girl!! Welcome to the world Rosie. Oh man...I am done. She's already got me figured out I think. Excuse me while I go learn how to braid hair on YouTube for the next 13 years...cuz that's how long it's gonna take me," Kris wrote.
According to PEOPLE, little Rose Elizabeth Allen was born in Nashville, Tennessee. She weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz., and measured 19 inches long. She joins big brother Oliver who is turning 3 next month.
Kris married Katy, his high school sweetheart, in 2008.
