Del Toro defends his 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' co-star and explains why he's skeptical of Heard's domestic violence accusations against Depp.

AceShowbiz - Benicio Del Toro didn't seem to believe a word Amber Heard said about Johnny Depp's alleged violent rage. Del Toro who shared screen with Depp in "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" described his co-star as "a nice guy, very caring, very smart."
"What I know, there's a lot of trouble from the girl that sounds a little manipulative," Del Toro told New York Daily News. The actor added, "It sounds a little bit like there's something really twisted about that girl ... but I don't know the specifics."
Del Toro explains his suspicions about Heard's domestic violence accusations against Depp. "It seems the fact that his mom passed away and she filed for divorce two days later and then she wants money and she's saying she got hit," he said. "I saw them not too long ago. Maybe it was January, a dinner for the Oscars or something like that. He was there with her and they were fine."
