Jackman's scruffy look fuels the speculation that the upcoming third and final solo 'Wolverine' movie will take on the 'Old Man Logan' comic book.

Production on the third "Wolverine" movie has apparently begun. Hugh Jackman was spotted filming scenes for the pic in New Orleans, La. on Tuesday, May 31. In some set pictures obtained by Just Jared, the Australian hunk donned a black suit and a tie atop a white shirt.
The actor rocked full beard with flecks of gray, hinting that he may play an older Logan. This is supporting persistent rumors saying that the third and final "Wolverine" movie will be based on the "Old Man Logan" comic book.
Recent report said Logan would be battling a "relentless, calculating... intense head of security for a global enterprise," who is an original villain portrayed by Boyd Holbrook, and Reavers. Reavers are a group of cyborgs who've operated both as a gang of thieves and an elite military task force. According to The Nerdist, Richard E. Grant who is on board to play a mad scientist could be Donald Pierce, the leader of Reavers.
James Mangold is serving behind the lens for "The Wolverine 3", which is set for a March 3, 2017 release in the U.S. Patrick Stewart is confirmed to reprise his role as Professor X.
