AceShowbiz - John Boyega will not appear in Marvel's "Black Panther" despite circulating rumors. The last 24 hours has seen speculation spread that the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actor would be joining Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong'o and Michael B. Jordan in the Marvel movie.

John's U.K. agent Femi Oguns shot down the rumors Twitter on Thursday night, May 18. "My client @JohnBoyega will not be starring in Black Panther," he wrote, "Now for the news..." On Friday morning, he followed it up, "This is what dreams are made of With @chadwickboseman at the helm @Lupita_Nyongo @michaelb4jordan we are in for history. #blackpanthersolit."

The "Black Panther" casting rumors emerged after Best of Marvel noticed that John shared on Snapchat a photo labeled "Meeting" shortly before Kevin Feige started following the actor through his official Twitter account. The site wrote, "It's all just speculations but HOPEFULLY we get John Boyega casted in Black Panther!"

Heroic Hollywood, meanwhile, reported that "hot, unconfirmed scuttlebutt" informed them that John might be meeting for the film as well.

"Black Panther" will begin production in early 2017 for a February 2, 2018 release.
