The singing show's coach has been spotted performing 'I Have Nothing' with a hologram of the late singer and teased that 'very exciting things [are] happening' during this season's finale.

AceShowbiz - Whitney Houston will be brought back to life for this season's finale of "The Voice". According to ET Online, a hologram of the late singer will appear on the singing show and perform a special duet with Christina Aguilera as part of the coach's tribute to her.

The new report supports rumors that started swirling a few days ago after some photos and videos surfaced online showing Aguilera singing "I Have Nothing" with a Houston hologram on the stage. When asked about the duet, the 34-year-old diva refused to confirm or deny the speculations, though she hinted that "exciting things" would indeed happen during the finale.

"I am sworn to secrecy," she told ET ahead of the Monday episode of "The Voice". "I can't say anything, but I'm very excited about the finale. Very exciting things happening." NBC also declined to comment.

Houston's appearance as hologram shouldn't come as a big surprise since Hologram USA announced last year their plan to bring a digital version of her on a world tour. The company's partnering with Pat Houston, the superstar's sister and the president of her estate.
