The 'Foxcatcher' actor confirms that his 90-year-old mother, a former nurse, passed away one day before Mother's Day.

The Associated Press reports Harriet died at her Massachusetts home surrounded by family. She is survived by four sons including Steve, as well as six grandchildren. The family is going to hold a funeral mass to remember her in June.
"Harriet loved flea markets, making preserves, spending time with her family, and was a great fan of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, whom she referred to as her 'boyfriend,' " an online obituary readd. "She worked for over 30 years as a psychiatric nurse at Emerson Hospital in Concord."
