After hitting No. 1 as a featured artist on Rihanna's 'What's My Name' and 'Work', Drake scores his first chart-topping single as a lead act with 'One Dance' from his latest LP 'Views'.

AceShowbiz - Drake finally has a No. 1 single on Billboard Hot 100. After several times landing at the top as a guest, he scores his first chart-topping hit as a lead artist with the WizKid and Kyla-assisted "One Dance" that jumps one rung from last week's No. 2.

The Canadian rapper previously hit No. 1 twice thanks to Rihanna's "What's My Name" (2010) and "Work". The latter, released earlier this year, spent a total of 9 weeks at the summit and is currently sitting at No. 6. Prior to this, he could only reach No. 2 as a lead artist with 2009's "Best I Ever Had" and last year's "Hotline Bling".

Drake landing at No. 1 isn't the only highlight of this week's Hot 100. Billboard reports that in addition to "One Dance" and "Work", he has 18 other songs on the list for a total of 20, the most any artist has charted in one week. That number even surpasses Justin Bieber's record of 17 songs that was set in December following the November release of "Purpose".

Most of Drizzy songs making up the latest Hot 100 are from his new album "Views", which came out last month and has just made its debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200. The LP immediately went platinum with around 1.04 million units sold in its first week, including 852,000 copies in traditional album sales. That's the biggest sales week of 2016 so far.
