The former wrestler is awarded another $25.1 million in punitive damages just three days after he won $115 million for economic injuries and emotional distress.

AceShowbiz - Hulk Hogan is awarded another $25.1 million in punitive damages in his sex tape lawsuit against Gawker Media, bringing the total to $140.1 million in combined damages. On Monday, March 21, a Florida jury announced that the media blog had to pay $15 million, site owner Nick Denton had to personally pay $10 million, while A.J. Daulerio, the editor who posted the tape, must pay $100,000.
The verdict came just three days after the former pro wrestler was awarded $115 million for economic injuries and emotional distress. "Thank you God for justice, only love 4life," Hulk shared on Twitter after the initial verdict was read on Friday evening, March 18. "Told ya I was gonna slam another giant."
As previously reported, Hulk sued the New York-based gossip site for $100 million back in 2012 and accused the company of invasion of privacy after posting a 101-second sex tape featuring the 62-year-old wrestling icon and his ex Heather Clem. After hearing Hulk's testimony that he was left "humiliated," the jury agreed that his privacy was violated and awarded him $15 million more than he had sought.
However, Gawker announced that it would appeal the jury's decision. "There is so much this jury deserved to know and, fortunately, that the appeals court does indeed know," Gawker said in a statement. "So we are confident we will win this case ultimately based on not only on the law but also on the truth."
