The star-studded charity song, which was debuted ahead of the FLOTUS' keynote speech at the SXSW on Wednesday, March 16, will help girls around the world complete their education.

AceShowbiz - Ahead of her appearance at the SXSW in Austin, Michele Obama recruited a bunch of female musicians for an empowerment anthem called "This Is for My Girls". The track was debuted on radio Tuesday, March 15 and made available for purchase on iTunes later that day.

Penned by hitmaker Diane Warren, the song features vocals from Kelly Clarkson, Zendaya Coleman, Missy Elliott, Kelly Rowland, Lea Michele, Janelle Monae, Chloe & Halle and JadaGrace. The ladies take turns singing the catchy tune, which will benefit the White House's Let Girls Learn campaign and the estimated 62 million girls globally who have no access to education.

"It's kind of like 'We Are the World' meets 'Lady Marmalade' with these strong voices and strong women," Warren said of the star-studded song in an interview with Billboard. "When was the last time you heard a song like this or a record that had this many amazing divas on it? I'm really proud."

"We haven't had an anthem like this in awhile," Warren added. "I envisioned the record being with all these different women, never just one girl singing on it. With Kelly Rowland on it, it's almost like an updated Destiny's Child record. I think it can be a huge worldwide anthem. I hope it becomes that."

First Lady Obama will deliver her SXSW keynote speech on Wednesday, March 16. Warren, Elliott and actress Sophia Bush will join her while Queen Latifah will serve as a moderator.
